IEHP Quality Wrap Up Report
The Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) Marketing Department produces a Quality Wrap Up Report each year, typically released in the early months of the following year. This report provides a comprehensive summary of the prior year’s outreach campaigns, focusing on closing care gaps in targeted quality measures such as Well Child visits, Adult Wellness, Maternity, Behavioral Health, Chronic Conditions, and Preventive Immunizations.
Its purpose is to evaluate and analyze performance metrics across multiple communication channels—including social media, email, SMS, paid media, and community outreach—to determine the effectiveness of these efforts in improving member engagement and health outcomes.
I had the privilege of leading the creation of this report as my largest project during my time as a Marketing and Communications Intern at IEHP from October 2024 to March 2025. This experience allowed me to collaborate with multiple teams, transform complex data into clear visuals, and present findings to leadership—strengthening my skills in data visualization, cross-department communication, and executive-level reporting.
Aligned with IEHP’s Quality mission, the report reflects the team’s commitment to:
Placing members at the center of all work
Encouraging creative and system-level problem-solving
Using data-driven insights to improve care delivery
Partnering with providers to enhance healthcare quality
Collaborating with others to strengthen the completeness of healthcare data in the Inland Empire
Ultimately, the Quality Wrap Up Report is not just a performance review—it’s a strategic tool to measure, assess, and guide improvements in healthcare quality across all domains of care.
To ensure the information was clear, professional, and ready for Senior Leadership, my responsibilities included:
Designing the presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint so it could be easily edited and shared across teams
Creating infographics to break down data into a visually appealing format, carefully coordinating graph and chart colors to maintain consistency and accuracy
Presenting the draft to the Director of Marketing at IEHP to gather feedback and constructive criticism before final submission to the Chief of Marketing
Collaborating with multiple teams, including Social Media and Video, to clarify data and ensure the information was presented accurately and effectively to Senior Leadership
Through this project, I learned the importance of presenting complex data in a way that is both visually engaging and easy to understand for executive audiences. I gained experience in cross-team collaboration, incorporating feedback from leadership, and refining details to ensure accuracy and professionalism. This process strengthened my attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to translate raw data into clear, impactful insights.
